The SAP user-administration queue is a stream of small, repetitive, interrupt-driven tickets: a locked account, a forgotten password, a role someone needs, a new joiner to set up, a "why can't I run this transaction?" The User Admin Agent reads each one, finds the user, and proposes the fix — in a single conversation where the admin approves every change.
What it does
It reads SAP user-admin tickets straight from ServiceNow — or from a message pasted into Microsoft Teams — finds the user across your connected systems, and proposes the fix:
- Unlock a locked account.
- Password reset, delivered safely (see below).
- Role assignment for an access request.
- New-user setup for a joiner.
- Authorization trace — it reads an SU53 or STAUTHTRACE trace to find the exact role behind an access error, then proposes that role.
The loop
Every ticket follows the same path, and it all happens in one thread:
Safety by design
Nothing auto-executes. The agent proposes; the admin types a one-time confirmation code to run any change. Passwords are delivered by a one-time link — never shown in chat and never seen by the AI. Every action is logged. Human approval gates every action.
User administration is the one place where an SAP agent writes rather than just reads — so the gate is deliberate and explicit. The honest label for this agent is approval-gated: it can act, but only on a human's one-time confirmation, and only after showing exactly what it will do.
A note on the data you paste
When a ticket includes exported SAP data — user records, logon history, authorization traces — that data can contain user IDs, IP addresses and terminal names, which can be personal data under GDPR and equivalent regimes. Syntasec runs entirely on your own infrastructure and is LLM-agnostic, so this kind of analysis never has to leave your network.
Where it runs
Wherever your admins already work:
The engine is your choice
Like every SyntaAI agent, the User Admin Agent's reasoning runs on whichever engine your policies allow — Claude in the cloud, Claude inside your AWS account via Bedrock, an on-premise open model, or a rule-based engine with no LLM at all. Put the User Admin Agent on your queue.
See it read a real ticket, find the user, and propose the fix — live on your infrastructure in 2–4 weeks. You confirm every change.
